The review’s authors were also upfront that their confidence in these findings is limited by the overall quality of the studies available, and called for larger, longer, better-designed trials.

If it isn’t blue light, what is actually behind that end-of-day eye fatigue? The leading explanation is behavioral, not optical. So if you already own a pair and feel more comfortable wearing them, there’s no evidence-based reason to stop. Just don’t expect them to be the fix for screen fatigue on their own, and don’t spend a premium on them assuming the science backs a real eye-strain benefit, because right now it doesn’t.
